Sigma

Brick by brick, a tower built by memories, adventure, and moments of wonder.

Casual conversations held around the coffee pot, the check-out line in the grocery store, or at the bus stop, have such a fleeting space in our timelines. People we often ask, as society deemed safe, “stranger-friendly” questions to fill the space before we doll-up our caffeine and head back to our regularly scheduled programs. Simple questions fishing for some information we can find relatability to, so we can feel connected on some level with the other person we are sharing the moment with. The who-are-yous’ and what-do-you-dos’ we use to pass along a little kindness and curiosity throughout the day. I find these questions to become harder and harder to answer the more information I have about myself.

Yes I said it, the more I know about myself, the harder it is to answer the question, “who are you?”

Through the years, the answer given was always true, no matter how different it was day to day, some days it was simple, defined, neat. Other days it was met with a big inhale, a long sigh and a chuckle admitting to the asker that I had as much information as them on the topic at hand. Eventually, when the opportunity arises, I will be able to hand them my business card (or wave my fancy tech NFC gizmo, because future magic,) and they will be able to find the answer to the question, if they see fun in diving down this rabbit hole.

Did you dive in? Great, welcome to Sigma.
